You control your allegiance by your actions and decisions in the game. You have allegiance to Rome if you pay your taxes and obey the laws. If you don't then you become a rebel.

I know how to get it, but will the system give you those allegiance points, or will actual players decide how many points you have?

I don't really have any concrete information how they plan on determining that. Perhaps someone else can enlighten us? Babulus, do you know anything about this question?

"Laws". Will there be people to enforce the laws, I wonder? And will there be Lawyers? I don't even know if Rome DOES have Lawyers :| I mean, I remember reading Cicero was a Lawyer turned Politician. But I also read "The plaintiff and the defendant were the lawyers. You were expected to know the laws if you were a Roman citizen. Since the laws did not stack up and cause a legal tangle like our modern system, it was not as hard as it is now. Though it would of still required some effort. Before a citizen would of went to trial the legalities would of already been debated out as well."
            Safe travels, my friend.
